It^s easy to subscribe to MEED Projects. Contact our dedicated Helpdesk today for further details. The help desk will put you in contact with the relevant sales person from the MEED Projects team, who will be happy to discuss your needs and arrange a demonstration.

Can I get company-wide access?

Each subscription to MEED Projects comes with upto 5 user access. However, you may purchase additional users for your organisation. Please contact the Helpdesk for further information and our sales team will create a package to suit your business needs.

What is the cancellation policy?

MEED Projects holds highly valuable information and we believe that you will be fully satisfied with the data supplied. Subscriptions are sold on a 12 month basis, at the end of this period you can chose to renew or cancel your subscription, however, during the subscription period you will not be able to cancel your subscription.

Are there terms & conditions of use that I need to comply with?

Yes. All trialists and subscribers to MEED Projects are required to agree to, and comply with the access and usage terms outlined in the terms & conditions.

Please note that individual usage is monitored and any breach of the terms and conditions will result in removal of access rights and possible legal action.

How do I activate my subscription?

Please note that your access to MEED Projects will not begin until your subscription payment has been received and we receive a signed agreement from you stating that you and your organisation will comply with the terms & conditions of usage.

Within 24 hours of receipt of payment your unique subscriber profile will be set-up and your username and password will be sent to you by email. 

Once you have received the email please follow the 8 simple steps below:

1. Go to www.meedprojects.com
2. Use your unique username and password to log in
3. Click on the Advanced Search button
4. Select one or more of the following options to refine your search results

5. Useful searches can be saved, named, and re-run whenever you return to the site
6. Using your search results you can tick the Track button on any projects you wish to be kept informed about.
7. All of the projects you choose to Track will be listed on your individual and secure My Page so you can view them easily at any time. You will receive an email notification when the project is updated. To remove a project from your Track list just untick the box. Its that quick and easy!
8. You can also set up a New Project Alert system that notifies you when projects of specific interest to you are loaded onto the database. Once you receive an email notice you can choose to track the project or not

You can amend or refine your individual alert criteria at any time to ensure that you dont receive email clutter

Using MEED Projects really is that easy!

And because you only receive email updates, or new project alert emails, on projects that completely match your individual business needs you dont have to worry about unnecessary spam clogging up your in-box.

Email updates are brief and straight to the point, and do not have large graphics to slow down your email download time. In a single click you can move from the email to the fully and newly updated project profile.

I^m a subscriber. Why can^t I access the site?

If you are having problems accessing the site it could be for one of the following reasons:

1.    Password sharing. Each password which is issued is for a single user access. If you share the password with your colleagues and they try to access the site at the same time as you, you will experience interruptions in your access. We recommend that you do not share the password. If you feel there is a risk that your password has been shared please contact the Helpdesk to change it

2.    Your subscription has lapsed your subscription is for a 12-month period at the end of which your access will cease. To ensure that your service is not interrupted you must extend your subscription for a further 12 months, ensuring we receive full payment, before your current subscription period has ended.  You will receive several notices from us before your lapse date but if you have any questions please contact the Helpdesk

3.    Local network problems if the site is running slower than usual it could be down to issues with your local network provider. We will not be able to assist you if this is the case. If it is a problem with the MEED Projects site an error message that mentions either MEED Projects or Emap will appear. Please see below for more information.

4.    Site outage - If it is a problem with the MEED Projects site an error message that mentions either MEED Projects or Emap will appear. If this happens during local working hours please contact our dedicated Helpdesk who will log your call and advise you how long the outage will last.

Can I have a free trial to MEED Projects?

We can offer time-limited free trials and demo^s to MEED Projects to individuals who register their interest with us. Once you have done this you will be contacted by a member of our team to discuss your information requirements.

I can^t find the project I^m looking for

Our search facilities are designed to be flexible and easy to locate there are two options on every page once you are logged in. You can use either a single or multiple search criteria which includes:

• Key word
• Country
• Sector
• Value (by selecting a range of values i.e. US$80 million to US$100 million)
• Status.

If you have used both the Quick Search (located at the top right hand corner of your screen) and Advanced Search (a link is located in the middle of the horizontal navigation bar on every page) and still cant find the project it could be down to one of the following reasons.

• The project is located in a country that you do not have access to If a project falls outside of the countries you have subscribed to it will not appear in your search results and you will not be able to track it. To extend your subscription, or to ensure that the project is being tracked, simply contact our dedicated Helpdesk.  
• The project is not of sufficient value to be tracked by MEED Projects MEED Projects is designed to track the most valuable projects across the GCC, Iran and Iraq. In practise that means that projects below a value of US$50 million will not be routinely tracked by the service. However, you may be able to find information by visiting www.meed.com and searching the 5-year archive of MEED magazine.
• The project has not yet reached the feasibility stage MEED Projects tracks projects from feasibility to completion or cancellation. projects that fall outside of these parameters will not be actively tracked. However, you may be able to find information by visiting www.meed.com for related news items.
• The project is complete and is no longer active MEED Projects will not provide an archive of completed projects. projects will be removed from the database up to 3 months after completion. However, you will be able to find information by visiting www.meed.com and searching the 3-year archive of MEED magazine.

If you cannot find a project and believe that none of the above reasons apply please contact our dedicated Helpdesk.who will register your complaint and pass it to our team of researchers for a response.  

How do I track current projects and receive alerts on new projects?

With MEED Projects its easy to personalise the service to ensure that you only receive email alerts on projects that are of real interest to your business. In fact we don^t send out email alerts unless they meet your personal search criteria.

Your unique My Page will store details of all the projects that you are currently tracking, your saved search criteria, and your new project alert criteria. Its a page youll find yourself using on every visit to the site!

When you first set up a subscription, and when you want to change the projects you are tracking, you can simply follow some or all of the following steps:

1. New searches

• Click on the Advanced Search button
• Select one or more of the following options to refine your search results  

• Keyword
• Country
• Sector
• Value (US$ million)
• Status

Using your search results you can tick the Track button on any project you wish to be kept informed about. Please ensure that you press the save tracking button to store your new tracking preferences.

3. Projects you have chosen to track will now be listed on your unique My Page and you will receive an email alert whenever the project is updated.
   

2. Saving useful searches

• Searches that you find particularly useful can be saved, named, and re-run whenever you return to the site. Simply

1. Use the Advanced Search page to create your search criteria
2. Run the search
3. When the results are displayed on the Advanced Search Results go to the foot of the page and you will find a free-text field for naming the search. Insert a name and press the Save Search button. If you do not complete this step the search criteria will not be saved.
4. Your personalised search options will be displayed for future use on your unique My Page. Simply go to this page when you wish to re-run your search
5. The maximum number of searches you can save at any one time is 10.
   

3. Tracking projects

1. Every time you use either Quick Search or Advanced Search you will produce a list of projects that meet your search criteria.
2. On this list each project has a Track button on the left-hand side.
3. Simply tick the Track button and press Save Tracking to add a project to your track list and to receive an email alert when the project is updated.

4. Stop tracking a project

• To remove a project from your Track list simply follow these steps:

1. Go to My Page
2. Find the project on your list of tracked projects
3. Remove the tick from the Track box
4. Remember to press Save Tracking or the system will not make the adjustment.

5. New project alerts

• You will only be notified by email when new projects are loaded on the system if you follow these steps:

1. Go to My Page
2. At the foot of the page you will find an area called Select New Project Alert Criteria
3. You need to specify which particular country/ies and sectors you are particularly interested in
4. Remember to save your preferences or the system will not record them.
5. You can only select that you have subscribed to access we will not send email alerts for countries outside of those you have paid to access.
6. You can only store one set of preferences at any time
7. You can update and refine your preferences at any time by repeating steps i-iv.
