MEED Report: Saudi Arabia Projects H2 July 2026
The Saudi Arabia Projects H2 July 2026
By the first half of 2026, the total value of projects in Saudi Arabia stood at about $2.07tn, up 9.38 per cent on a year-over-year basis. The market benefited in 2017 from the addition of the $500bn NEOM project.
Additionally, by status, the Design or FEED stage holds the largest share at $1tn, offering a key insight that the pipeline remains heavily front-loaded—meaning delivery momentum will increasingly depend on how effectively these early-stage developments translate into awards and on-site execution amid potential capacity and supply-chain constraints.
Project Contract Awards By Year, 2017–2026 ($m)

The overall total is only $40.6bn, implying that non-construction sectors are contributing comparatively less and that the sharp drop versus 2025 likely reflects fewer large, bundled awards like those that drove the 2024 peak.
