Al-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) spent an estimated $5bn in contract awards for the Dorra gas field project. KJO awarded India’s Larsen & Toubro Energy Hydrocarbon a contract, estimated at $140m-$150m, for offshore package 1 in October last year. McDermott secured offshore package 2A, valued at about $1.5bn. A consortium of L&T Energy Hydrocarbon and Saipem secured package 2B. Estimated at about $3.4bn, package 2B is the largest of the three offshore EPC
