Shell - Bonga South West Aparo Field Development
Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo) is undertaking the expansion of Bonga Field located approximately 135 kilometres offshore in water depths up to 1400 metres in Nigeria.
The development is based on a new hub, with a standalone spread-moored FPSO of nameplate oil processing capacity of 150,000 bopd and 1.8 MMbbls nominal storage capacity. It will be through a deep water subsea network consisting of 12 Production and 11 water injection Wells, 26km of production flowlines, 14km of water injection flowlines, 100km gas export pipeline and 35km of in-field Umbilicals.
The US$1900 million project includes the following:
FPSO:
1. Construction of an FPSO
2. Drilling of 20 production wells
3. Laying of pipelines
4. Laying of cables
5. Installation of integrated control
6. Installation of safety systems
EPC II:
1. Installation of flowlines for production and water injection
2. Installation of the Dynamic, Static, and bundled Umbilicals
3. Installation of gas lift risers
4. Installation of Subsea Hardware supplied by EPC 3 package
5. Installation of flowline jumpers
6. Installation of gas export pipeline and riser, including platform host modifications and tie-ins
7. Installation of production trees and water injection trees
8. Installation of gas-lift artificial riser base system
9. Installation of safety & security systems
10. Installation of other associated facilities
EPC V:
1. Installation of an offloading buoy
2. Installation of mooring system: anchors, mooring chains or legs, chain stoppers, fairleads
3. Installation of subsea oil offloading risers and Pipeline End Manifold (PLEM)
4. Installation of product swivel and fluid transfer system between buoy and risers
5. Installation of floating hose strings, breakaway couplings and tanker connections
6. Installation of control, safety and monitoring systems
7. Installation of associated oil offloading risers
8. Installation of other associated facilities
