Saudi Aramco - Zuluf Oil Field Development
Saudi Aramco is planning the development of the Zuluf Oil Field in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, approximately 260 km north of Dhahran, approximately 2 km east of the New Tanajib Gas Plant, and 6 km west of Tanajib Airport.
The grassroots onshore central processing facilities will process 600 MBCD of Arab Heavy(AH) crude oil from the Zuluf offshore field and the ZCPF will include in-plant facilities for the treatment and subsequent supply of 3.079 MMBWD of Jaladi aquifer water injection into the Zuluf reservoir.
The US$9,000 million project includes the following:
1. Construction of Hydrocarbons Processing Facilities (Package 01)
2. Construction of Utilities, Water Treatment & Injection Facilities (Package 02)
3. Laying of pipelines
4. Civil & Infrastructure works
5. Construction of associated facilities
1. Construction and installation of Trunk Lines (CRPO 79)
2. Construction of Water Injection Facilities (CRPO 80)
3. Construction of Water Injection Facilities (CRPO 81)
4. Construction of Oil Gathering Centres (CRPO 82)
5. Construction of Oil Gathering Centres (CRPO 83)

The main contract tender for Onshore Package 1 & 2 has been issued with the bid submission due on July 21, 2021 and it is expected to be awarded by December 2021 and the main contract tender for all the Offshore Packages has been issued on March 30, 2021 with the bid submission due on June 30, 2021 and it has been issued to the contractors under the offshore LTA pool of ARAMCO. The tender has been cancelled for Early Works Package and Temporary Construction Facility.
13 August 2020
The PQ submission has taken place on August 12, 2020 for Package-1 & 2 and JGC Corporation, Saipem, Tecnicas Reunidas, Hyundai E&C, Samsung E&C, POSCO E&C amongst the few other's have submitted the PQ documents.

The bid submission date has been further extended to June 30, 2020 on Early works and TCF package.

SOI has been re-issued with the submission due on February 16, 2020 on onshore package-1 & 2 and the ITB is expected to be issued in March 2020 with the submission due in July 2020. The contract is expected to be awarded by December 2020.
