Saudi Arabia Ministry of Sports is planning to develop the King Salman International Stadium spanning over 660,000 m2 of land in the north of Riyadh, next to King Abdulaziz Park, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The the highest capacity stadium in Saudi Arabia, will be situated along the King Salman Road near King Khalid International Airport and Riyadh Metro Station. The project will serve as the Saudi national football team's main headquarters and will host the opening and final matches of the FIFA World Cup 2034

The stadium is one of the key venues for the FIFA World Cup 2034.

The US$2000 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of a stadium (92,760 seats)

- Net capacity (80,000 Nos.)

- Hospitality seats (7,000 Nos.)

- Sky box seats (2,100 Nos.)

- Media tribune seats (3,222 Nos.)

- VVIP seats (300 Nos.)

- VIP seats (2,000 Nos.)

- Access seats (823 Nos.)

2. Construction of multiple surrounding sports facilities over 360,000 sqm

- Two training fields and fan zones

- Closed sports hall

- Olympic-sized swimming pool

- Athletics track and outdoor courts for volleyball, basketball, and padel tennis

3. Construction of a 9-kilometre-long sports track surrounding King Abdulaziz Park

4. Installation of indoor screens for spectators

5. Construction of indoor gardens

6. Construction of walking track

7. Construction of spectators, VIP and VVIP parking facilities

8. Construction of associated facilities
