Qatar Gas is planning to undertake the development of gas compression systems as a part of the North Field Production Sustainability project in Qatar.

The two large gas compression systems, which will be known as CP65 and CP75, each weigh 68000 tonnes.

The US$4,000 million project includes the following:

1. Installation of two large gas compression platforms

2. Installation of two living quarter platforms

3. Installation of two gas flare platforms

4. Brownfield modification work at two offshore complexes

5. Construction of jackets

6. Installation of safety & security systems

7. Construction of associated facilities
