Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects (DAEP) is undertaking the construction of the terminal superstructure of the Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai South, Dubai, the UAE.

Phase 1 of the expansion encompasses the construction of the West Terminal Building plus Concourse 1, forming the superstructure works that sit above the foundations and basement level. These works are part of the broader modernization and expansion strategy for Al Maktoum International Airport (also known as Dubai World Central) to significantly increase its capacity and functionality. The terminal superstructure work forms part of the Al Maktoum International Airport expansion program under DAEP.

The US$14,500 million project includes the following:

A. West Terminal and Concourse 1:

1. Construction of five terminal buildings housing more than 400 aircraft gates

2. Construction of Concourse 1 connected to passenger terminals

3. Construction of departure area

4. Construction of immigration hall

5. Construction of a lounge

6. Construction of restaurants

7. Construction of associated facilities

B.Superstructure Works: Concourse 2:

1. Construction of Concourse 2, comprising 100 aircraft contact gates for various codes

2. Construction of lounges

3. Construction of restaurants

4. Construction of retail outlets

5. Construction of associated facilities

C. Concourse 3:

1. Construction of Concourse 3 comprising 100 aircraft contact gates for various codes

2. Construction of lounges

3. Construction of restaurants

4. Construction of retail outlets

5. Construction of associated facilities
