Saudi Aramco is planning to undertake the construction of the gas compression plant work project at Shedgum and Uthmaniya gas compression program in Saudi Arabia.

The project aims to improve declining gas production in the Shedgum & Uthmaniya areas by reducing the discharge pressure at their gas well sites and utilizing new gas compressing facilities to boost the line pressure to the inlet requirements of Shedgum and Uthmaniya gas plants.

The US$2240 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of gas compression plant

2. Additions and Modifications to Shedgum and Uthmaniya gas plants to support the modified and new facilities

3. Modifications to compression stations

4. Modifications to gas booster stations

5. Installation of pumps, air coolers and heat exchangers

6. Installation of compression systems and associated infrastructure

7. Installation of safety & security systems

8. Construction of associated facilities
