Saudi Aramco is planning to undertake the construction of the gas compression plant phase 2 as a part of the Commercialisation of Unconventional Resources Jafurah Gas Plant in Saudi Arabia.

This profile includes package 3 of Phase 2 development.

The US$1000 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of three gas compression plants with the production capacity of 600mmscfd (raw gas)

2. Construction of associated utilities and infrastructure

3. Installation of Reverse osmosis systems

4. Installation of electrical systems

5. Installation of instrumentation and process automated system

6. Construction of associated facilities

The main contract tender is expected to be issued to the shortlisted companies very soon however the exact time-frame is not known.

The client issued the solicitations of interest (SOI) documents in early October 2022 and the submission was done on October 20, 2022. The EPC tender is expected to be issued by end of 2022.
