The Royal Commission for Al-Ula (RCU) is developing a tramway network as part of the Tramway Project in Al-Ula, located in the Al Madinah governorate of Saudi Arabia. This project is also known as the Wadi Path. The project's primary aim is to balance the demand for modern infrastructure with the preservation of Al-Ula's natural and archaeological heritage, all while promoting sustainable transportation.

The US$1000 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of 22.4 km of tram tracks

2. Construction of 17 station buildings

3. Development of infrastructure works

4. Landscaping works

5. Hardscaping and irrigation works

6. Construction of a state-of-the-art tram depot (TOMAC)

7. Internal roadwork development

8. Reconstruction of external frontage roads

9. Utility development

10. Earthworks

11. Development of a drainage system

12. Installation of the signalling system

13. Installation of the communication system

14. Construction of associated facilities
